No, it adds a deeper sound to the intake.

Some non-performance minded people don't like hearing the engine at all.

I have a K&N dropin filter filter but I'm looking forward to buying a JWT popup charger... I was also wondering what the differences were between the oil based filters and the regular?? filters

The engine definately sounds more powerful, and definately makes a VVVVRRROOOOMMMMM sounds now... i guess u do have a point when it comes to those old pople that own the car dont want to here the VVVRRROOOMMM.... I think next i will change the MidPipe...
is it like obnoxious sounding ... cause i dont want every cop in the county on my ***.
Also I heard some stuff that there are risks to channging the intake like hydrolocking?? and something else .. but if anyone can explain that

^ No you will only hear the pop charger when you hit 5K rpm. Other than that the only audiable sound is the wider intake tube over the stock intake. The z-tube and pop charger just makes your engine sound like it really has 280hp.
