I'm pretty sure the special edition model had the 298hp motor. Released in 05 or 06... could be called the 20th anniversary? (I'm just pulling words here).

Yeah its possible, but lots and lots of engine work is needed. It would cost about 15 grand prolly.

Well yes and no. The reason he has more HP is because his redline is also at 7200 RPMs (due to the rev up motor) where your auto transmission only redlines at 6700 RPMS (non rev up motor) so he has 500 more RPMS to produce that extra 20HP. Now if you have a ECU reflash so that your RPMS go up to 7200 then you would be able to say that you have just about the same amount of HP as he does.

You also want to take into factor that its not real safe to run a non rev up motor that high (7200 RPM) unless you have done some internal engine work. The non rev up can rev that high its just not real safe...if you do internal engine work then you will producing more HP anyways since the metal is lighter and what not....

The question in the 1st post was is there a 300hp AT 350Z? I don't think so but may be wrong.

No one has a 300HP stock auto.
