Does a 20 x 8.5 rim stick out to far in front?

I'm looking at some TSW rims off a Mustang and was wondering if not staggering the front looks bad or not? Anyone done this size up front on the Sedan?

The fronts on the sedans are usally 8 to 8.5. I only know this because a couple of friends have sedans with 8.5's in the front

Perfect, I think they are all 4 8.5"w rims... so I should be good and lot thicker profile than the OEM sticks

Not if they are the right offset. Check out the link in my sig "my car".

Those are +40.

First off, I love your ride man. One of the cleanest Sedan's i've ever laid eyes on.

Second, what offset can I get away with. here's the rims I'm looking at here locally.

as long as the offset is +35-45 they wont stick out of the fender. Anything lower and they will.

I'm running +38 on my 8.5" wide fronts and they're perfect.

right on... preciate the feedback fellas. I think these are both 35 or 40 in front and back.

the new body style mustang takes a high offset...much like our sedans...so i believe those rims will work...double check with the seller on those offsets...the part i'm afraid of are the tires, which are 255/35...its going to be 50/50 if you are going to rub or not...but if you plan on lowering your car, good luck with that size of tires

he shouldnt have a rubbing problem with the 255's, they're only about 10mm wider than the 245's. If the offset is +40 on all the rims then he wont have a problem with rubbing even if it is lowered.

I tried 255's on my Zenetti wheels which were ~+38 and they rubbed. Otherwise I would have 255's right now.

LOL, I'm only lowered 1.3F / 1.2R.

You will not have the same problems as I do if you are stock height. 255's should be fine.
