My G just hit 100K

Just letting the world know my baby has recently reached a major milestone in its life. 100K with no mechical issues, still on the original clutch and most everything else except oil, breaks and tires. I still love this car. Even with 100K on the clock it runs as if it has 10K. LONG LIVE THE G!!

Nice, congratulations on the big milestone and a problem free car. That's getting your money's worth.

What is a normal life span for a clutch anyway? Fow what its worth I have never had to replace a clutch in any car I have ever owned. (A total of 6 different cars now, all manuals. But I havent put this kind of mileage on them either).

If it lasts 100K miles, I think you're at or beyond the average life expectancy of a stock clutch. You'll know it's time to change it when it starts slipping...Anyway, I had a 95 Maxima before my G35 and didn't change the clutch on that car until 130,000 miles. By then it was slipping pretty bad (but was still driveable)...

Hey - I just hit 100K yesterday (kilometers though) and still on the original 5AT transmission! (I guess that's not a surprise)

Mine still goes great too - and no major issues. I'm looking forward to turbo in the next month or two...
