Snow button question

'05 G35x

Hey guys,

Just want to double check The manual apparently left it to my imagination, but is there a "good" speed at which I can click on the snow button? Doing 75, 25, stopped?

Thanks.

The snow button mode only works below 12 mph (20 km/h) It provides 50% traction to front and 50% rear below these speeds and also cuts back on throttle if slip is detetected. If the snow button is engaged and you go above these speeds the regular ATTESSA AWD comes into play.

I never use snow mode button and I get a fair amount of snow.

Good info to know! I didn't realize that. So it's really only good if you're creeping along, getting stuck, etc. In which case if you spin anyway, the computer will just kick in AWD anyway..right?

Yes the way I read it back when I purchased my 05 was if you come out in the morning and there was a heavy snowfall and you have some major drifting in your driveway and your street, then you can engage the snow mode and it will pull you through.
I have never really needed it, with my Blizzaks and in normal mode it goes throuugh anything I have tried.
The only time I have used snow mode is in the summer with my summer performance tires driving up a steep grassy hill (don't ask ).

You are correct that the manual does not offer much explanation of snow mode. It is always an area of questions when people get their X. I got my info from the Infiniti site back in 05.
