I was just denied a loaner car
Re: I was just denied a loaner car
Dude - "Warranty" is not subject to negotiation. If the work you need is covered by the warranty, they're jerking you around - next time you go in, they'll give you a different story. They just don't want 300 miles round trip on their loaners. If this is an Infinity dealer, they have to give you a loaner for warranty work.
Call Consumer Affairs. Their job is to make sure you can't say "I love owning an Infiniti but...(insert complaint here)". They're very accommodating.
Trust me, you'll feel much better about the whole thing (not to mention very pampered) if you call. Remember to tell us what happens when you do call.
PS - either your cousin has no clout or he doesn't like you very much. Call him too.

cookg35... the cold shoulder b/c you didn't buy it from them, which stinks because if you bought it from an indy person, they most likely bought it from "this dealer." i haven't had any probs getting a loaner so far. not4another... i read somewhere on this forum that someone inquired about the TSB for rear brake squeal and they were told that it is no longer valid. there is a thread on rear brake squealing and the posts also show that someone got the TSB done and the rears started squeaking again after a few thousand miles. i got the TSB done about a month ago and no squeaks... yet.
