Pop Charger and ECU reset

Hello Everyone,

I am installing a Z Tube and Pop Charger this weekend. Do I need to reset the ECU when I am done? This is my wifes new car and she does not drive aggresive at all. Isnt that the purpose of resetting it or does it need to be reset to adjust for the aftermarket items I am installing? If I disconnet the battery for 12 hours will that put everything back to normal?

Thanks.

Thanks.

I have read just recently, that for a Z tube and Pop charger you do not need to reset. If I am incorrect someone please chime in.

You do not "need" to do a reset, the car will adapt over time if you don't. Most of us just want faster results.
