Rear of the car uneven

I just noticed that my car isn't that even in the rear. The rear driver side is actually about 1/4" or so lower than the rear passenger side. Also the driver side wheel is a little more tuck than the passenger side. My car has about 3.7K miles on it and recently I had my wheels changed. So what gives?

it sounds like you have more negative camber on your left side. are you on stock suspension?

Yup, I still have the stock sport suspension. I guess i need to bring it into a shop to have it looked at or should I have the dealer take a look first? Does anyone know if they have to take off your wheels for an alignment?

no they don't have to take them off. Keep in mind this could be a pre-existing problem, but it just became evident when the new wheels were installed.

yes...if it is stock they should have no problem fixing it for you but they might give you a bit of a hard time if the stock wheels are not on the car. They might say to align it properly they need the OEM wheels on the car. I know from experience my alignment specs are slightly different when I change from my summer set up (20") to my winter (18").

Mine had the same problem but it was 3/4 inch out... The dealer put it up on the lift and couldn't find anything wrong. When he put it back down everything was fine. It could just be where you went before you stopped. The springs are pretty stiff and they don't settle out flat after cornering.

Same here, but I don't see it as a big issue.

It is very common... not necessarily correct, but common. Unfortunately, there isn't really anything you can do. It’s not as noticeable with OEM springs since the gap is bigger… it becomes more noticeable when you lower – then ¼” seems very distinctive. Some cars seem to be worse than others… no one ever notices as much as the owner (I’m the same way).
