New Rattle

Has anyone had any problems with a rattle coming from the base of the inside rear view mirror? I noticed mine was rattling this morning on the way into work. Took me a little while to figure out were it was coming from. The people in the parking lot must have thought I was nuts when I had my ear up to the windshield. Oh well... Thank you in advance

I know you have an 05, but this may be the problem:

Thanks man... I'll try that out. For some reason my dealer isn't very willing to address TSBs. Unless the Infiniti dealers are told to do their best not to make repairs to keep the # of reported repairs per vehicle down it doesn't make sense to me... They get to bill Infiniti for full price on a easy fix.

I have a buddy that is a service manager for a Ford dealership. When stuff is under warranty he finds the way to make the most money off of Ford as possible... one of many reasons Ford is going under.

I had a similar rattle too, and it ended up being my sunglasses in the sunglass holder overhead....needless to say, I don't use it any more!

Just try to install the felt tape.. I am tired saying the same thing over and over to the dealer again... (unless if you have a new car)

Is there anything in this car that won't rattle or squeak?

This is driving me crazy! I must have a defective G. I even live on a dirt road, and I still do not have any rattles! What am I doing wrong?
