Constant squeeling sound

All,
Live in Chicago and am loving my G but recently, I have noticed a high pitched squeeling from under the hood. Sound is definitely coming from under the hood and not due to the stereo or heater. Any ideas?

The drive belts? I had the same problem. Mine were replaced.

DEFINATELY the belts. I've changed mine once a year at the dealer since 02. Always the alternator belt!!

May be this explainsthe squeaky noise from under my sedan's hood everytime I start my car in rainy or snowy days. and the high pitch noise lasts for hours.

THis happened to me once - sounds like a pig under there. It was my stock crank pulley ceasing up. They replaced it and then I put a aftermarket on there anyway. No problems since. Whatever it is the dealer should fix it without a hassle or a lot of time.
