How much room do you have below the pan? The standard spacer is ~1" but I don't know if your pan is the same or not.

I'd imagine the X got more room down there, as it's higher off the ground?

My concern would be the front drive and sway bar.

Does anyone have any pics from under an X?

i do and it is the same. the oil filter has a bracket attached to it that relocates it so that it is facing foward because the sway bar is in the way

its a bad pic, you cant really see from that angle at all. but I am confident that it should be fine. it seems that VRT didnt run into this issue when they built that X

Go for it!

Great mod. It was one of the 1st things I did. With the way the VQ burns oil you can't go wrong with an extra qt. Between my spacer and greddy pan my car holds ~6.5 now.

ok the reason i ask is because i had the oil pan spacer on my 350z with turbonetics kit.
now i have the 350z awd with the x drive train and the oil pan is diferent from the RWD VQ so the oil spacer has to be design for the x.

it got finished a month ago and now im gonna add a vortech SC i need some kind of boost till the winter so i dont like taping into my upper oil pan so i want to find a spacer.. thanks guys
by the way here a pic of the car at HIN DC with my girl modeling for our company

VRT dropped a TT kit (and some motor work) on a G35x in california. I forgot the username, but he does post on this website. Im quite sure VRT made an oil pan spacer for that X and maybe you can ask them for their advice.

but as far as I know, the pan itself may be different but the crank case should not!! so a spacer should fit just fine even though the X's pan maybe a bit modified to accomade the ATTESSA hardware
