G35/Skylines in Australia?
I am traveling typing on a computer in Singapore right now.. just got back from a week in Sydney... didn't see any Skylines... I thought they sold them there? Maybe not but I did see plenty of IS200's and IS300's ...
Kind of disappointed really looked for my car.. I did see a 350Z but no Skylines

I myself was wondering about the G35 in Australia...Nothing, huh? Odd...I know that, at least last year, Nissan was still manufacturing and selling the 240SX over there...I sometimes hate the limited American automotive market

I took a quick look at the Nissan Australia web site (http://www.nissan.com.au) and did not see the Skyline listed so perhaps they do not sell it there or have discontinued now?

Not to mention, that if you want to drive, say a nice Camry in Singapore, it'll cost you around $42K US to get one. The G would probably be in the $75K category, if they offered one!

I was in the UK for over month last May-June... from London to Glasgow I never saw one G35/V35. they don't know what they are (under the Nissan/Skyline or Infiniti/G35 branding). Nissan doen't market them over there. I think they are also limited to 2.8L engines in the UK and have severe "mod" restrictions. Remember, I said UK and not Europe.....
I did see an awful lot of the Mercedes A Class....

Cars are way more expensive in Singapore. My wife's sister bought a BMW 318 a few years back (99) for 175,000 Sing $... at 1.7 to 1 that translates to 100K USD. My father in law was looking at Honda Accords last year 160K... My guess is the G would cost you 100K
But here's the thing most of that cost is to buy the voucher which you need to purchase the vehicle. The govt controls how many vehicles can be purchased per year and sells the vouchers at auction. So if you can afford a voucher then your rich ..... % wise there are way more BMW/Mercedes/Jaguar because the middle class here cannot afford to buy a car.
The funny thing is you can hire a all 24hr a day live in maid from Indonesia for about $5000/yr.. so you see people who can't afford to buy a car but have a live in servant... kind of weird.
Take a look at the Cefiro (equivalent to Maxima in US) ... I like the styling on the Singapore version a lot better

I bet they could sell the March in the US too.
