I used to get that question but once I lowered and slapped a set of 19's on it's pure compliments.

My buddy and I were cruising down from ct on I95. He in his 06 coupe, me in my 06 sedan....both 6mt

We evened up both in 3rd gear......ran em straight out.....

To both of our surprise I had him by a few inches the whole time....

He was heartbroken and it made my day

main reason i got the sedan: 22000$ with 35k kms, coupes: 26k with 80-90k kms on them.

i haul people about, a lot. my friends are mostly urban and so cars are impractical, same with my gf's family. so being able to fit 5 vs 4 is a big deal.
big trunk also helps a lot.

i think i like the sound better, if only if it were a bit louder.
i still get annoyed when people's response is "oh, it's just a sedan" with a note of disappointment in their voice.
sometimes i think i shouldn't worry about the practicality, and just go for cool, but on the other hand, i'm far from cool, definitely not cool enough for the coupe, and probably not even cool enough for the sedan... not that it matters anyways, since i think i've seen maybe 2 other g drivers in town under the age of 50.

yep, I get the same response... "oh, it's a sedan?" Some ask why fix up a sedan?!?!? It's just they never drove the G Sedan, and don't have a feel for it. I personally like sedans more than coupes, coming from a pathfinder, I need the room or I feel claustrophobic. IMHO i think a fixed up sedan looks uber nice! My modding shall begin next year!

Yea people always go Wow u gotta g35 coupe not i gotta sedan oh sedan why wouldnt u get the coupe? Cause its tiny, when i turn my head I dont want the rearwindow in my face lol. And I **** on coupes all day.

My best story was i was cruising, 2 coupes they were racing each other pull up on my sides left and right i was in the middle lane. I saw them rolling on each other SO VDC off steptronic and launched on them Almost 2 cars shooting out from behind them while they were spinning lol. We went for 2 lights, and 1 was 6mt he was almost closing up to my trunk, but After all, I WAS CRACKIN UP laughing cause i also had my friend in the car with me lolol

so far many of my friends question me about why a sedan and not a coupe.
i tell them i've always liked the way a sedan looks, and 2 of my neighbors just picked up a red 06 coupe and a 04 OB coupe. I wanted the extra room in a sedan, although it would had been nice to own a coupe so I can run some nice low offset rims.

i wish i could have both. i had an I30 before my G, and i LOVE my coupe but heres my equation:

2 ppl + COUPE = SEXY

3+ ppl + COUPE = NO

<=2 ppl + sedan = WHY DIDNT I GET A COUPE?

3+ ppl + sedan = MAN IM GLAD I DIDNT GET A COUPE

Father-in-Law has a coupe. Loved driving it when he let me. He had a sedan loaner. Fell in love with it. Plus I have a baby on the way...

I still get to drive the coupe when we go see the in-laws. AND he lets me drive it like a coupe is suppose to be driven

I will admit that the coupe looks better, no question about that, i just couldn't justify spending an extra 6k for the same year coupe. I know i got a great deal because my dealership had plenty of 04's sedans left when the 05's came out, so it was a no brainer. I do love having an extra 2 doors.

I can have trunkspace and subwoofers at the same time! Are you coupe drivers enjoying your Bose bass?? Don't get me wrong, I'm no SPL freak or anything, but I do like some THUMP while I still have junk in the trunk.

i think i've seen maybe 2 other g drivers in town under the age of 50.
Yeah, I love the sleeper aspect of the sedan. The coupe is graceful, but still gets up in your face. My friends love reclining in the back seat and laughing at the looks on ricer-boys' faces when this old-man sedan rolls up next to them, puts their "sound systems" to shame (without a single rattle) and leaves their farting, over-boosted eco-box in a cloud of rear-wheel tire smoke.
