I think the coupe looks nasty. I know a lot of people don't agree with me on that one though.

Those must be heavy...
I'm not talking about weight, I'm talking about utility. You can barely fit two sets of golf clubs in the coupe trunk and that requires reading a specific Infiniti document outlining how to do it. My sedan was able to fit all of this plus some groceries on our vacation last year. Let's see a coupe do that Originally Posted by usual_suspect

with a baby on the way I really had no choice. I love my sedan, but i would take a coupe in a heartbeat if i could. But family > car so oh well.
fyi, the g coupe has more interior room and backseat space then a lexus is350 so there u go. I dont know why any idiot would buy that car over a g coupe.

Why? Because sedans aren't as heavily modded, and when they do, they stand out so much more.

The way I read it you were stating that it's possible to fit them back there, but wasn't sure if you had kids.
I too got the sedan because of kids. The coupe won me over @ the showroom, but I love my sedan 100% now that I own it....
im definitely shorter than you but im not a small guy.. im 5'10" 180 lbs.. i have the child seats facing forward.. i dont think id have room if i had it faing the rear.. its not like i drive kids everyday... its my nehpews that i fit back there every now and then and i dont need to move my seat either.Originally Posted by jimmyc13
You CAN fit them, or you actually DO have them in the back seat of your coupe?

My answer? Because I've always wanted a sport sedan. And if the G sedan is mechanically identical to a coupe (or 350Z for that matter) plus more interior space, a couple more power windows, and $2000 less, WHY WOULDN'T I BUY A SEDAN?

I got a sedan instead of a coupe because at the time it was 1.9% APR, a few thousands less, and wanted a 4 door as my last car was a 2dr...

I'm 5'-9 1/2" and weigh 170.......and I consider myself somewhat of a small guy (average).... Kinda funny that we're pretty much the same build, but you think you're "big".....

Personally, I picked up the sedan because I found it practical. My last vehicle being a 00 Tahoe. I didn't see how driving that big thing was practical. It was at the time when I used to pick up a bunch of friends and go out to bars/clubs practically every weekend. All of which was cut short after I switched jobs and got a new schedule. Parking was a small issue too, trying to find parking for the Tahoe so that nobody would hit it was sometimes a pain.
Whenever someone asks "why a sedan?" I look at them ask, ask why not? Both the coupe and sedan is practically the same car. Just that the sedan looks a whole hell of a lot better. Besides, I think a VIP style G35 sedan would look damn sexy.

Less expensive, and hell of a deal at the time. I wasn't looking for another money pit/modding disease like my cobra. Also, don't feel like I am in a hurry all the time and comfortable on longer trips.

Bought the sedan because it was more practical. Had a baby on the way, already here now, and wanted the convenience of a 4 door.

he didnt say he's "big"... he said he's "not small"... considering 5'10" is about avg I'd say it a fair statement... not big and not small.Originally Posted by jimmyc13
