EGR valve location

does anyone know where the EGR valve is in a 2003 G?

Do our cars have EGR? I think EGR is the dumbest thing ever.. why the hell would exhaust straight into the intake be a good idea.. grrr

oh i dont know im just wondering if there is one. i smelled some funny fumes off my exhaust this morning so i wanted to have it checked

I know there is a PCV valve that vents back into the plenum and the driver's side valve cover has a vent back into the intake tube that uses manifold vacuum. Not sure about an EGR and I don't have my ESM here.

Our VQs don't have EGR.. they use some other mechanism (don't remember what it is...)

Most newer engines with variable camshaft timing have eliminated the need for a EGR valve. The ECU will adjust the camshaft timing to achieve the same purpose as the EGR valve.
