I'v learned that their is a big delay in the shifts when at WOT.

To many times have i been floorin it off the line, go to shift at 6500rpm and the thing delays and i hit the revv limiter. SO DAMN ANNOYING! Gotta remember to shift at 6k to get the car to actually shift at 6500...

Usually will use manual mode in slippery weather, the tranny shifting up seems to make the car feel less stable. My old scooby had multiple otions for "drive" in fowl weather I found it worked best in D3. So I tried manul in the G and it seemed to be similar. Almost feels like it keeps torque to the road, if that makes sense.

Just normal shifting nothing really to it.

If you drive fast then you'll shift at higher RPM if slow then at lower.
If you drive slow and shift at high RPM then you are retarded

Normal driving between 2k and 3k.

I always use manual mode and every time I get a phone call or something, I switch into D and it feels so weird when car shifts when you do not expect it.

If you really want to get buried into your seat, from stand still, pop it into 1st, turn traction control off and accellarate to about 4500rmp (while still in 1st), then foot off gas for a few seconds or till about 3000rmp then pedal to the metal, pop it back into D...

Dam you guys drive the crap outta these cars. I hardly ever venture into the manual mode. Don't ever really need to as there's alway enough power for me to pass etc.

hehehe, I've actually forgotten that I was in D a couple of times and shoved it into neutral (but no redline, but sure is one heck of a rev) before, but no big deal, just let the revs settle and pulled it back into D

I drive in MM all the time, unless I'm stuck in traffic or if I'm tired

As well as the "being in D mistake", I've done this one too. I remember it well; soon after I first got the car, I took it out late at night on a back road to put it through the paces. Well I put her in manual mode first gear, hit the gas, rev'd it up to about 6000 and tired to "pull it BACK" into second gear. I remember the car studdering and seeing something flash on the dash and thought "OMG, I just trashed my new car". Well after reading the manual and seeing the "+" in the daylight, I realized that you have push UP through the gears. It was natural for me to want to pull DOWN to go from 1st to 2nd, like a stick.

I can see it now; next time I'm driving a stick, I'm going to push up from 1st and either have nowhere to go or throw it in reverse!

Just be sure to be extra carefull, doing that means ALOT of power in the rear wheels, and with T/C off, thats a dangerous combination. I sometimes do burnout while driving like that but its still not a good idea to screw around with it too much.
