It's okay. The upshift has a slight delay and I have pegged the limiter a couple of times. It will finally upshift itself after hitting it a few times. hehe.

Perfectly normal, manumatics or tiptronics aren't like paddel shifters, they're slow as hell. Mine is always in 4th when I switch over.

if you're cruising in D and switch to MM, it automatically downshifts for you...the laggy shifts are normal and can be taken care of with a valve body upgrade

I use mine a lot more than I thought I would. I figured it'd be a novelty for a week or two, but I find for putzing around town I like to keep her in the power band, 'specially around a good corner like a cloverleaf. Also handy for rolling down the parkade ramp, I knock it into first and let engine braking hold a perfect speed without riding the brakes.

Drive it like I stole it. . .Keep my foot on the gas as i shift, I don't let go as if it were manual.

Just be sure to be extra carefull, doing that means ALOT of power in the rear wheels, and with T/C off, thats a dangerous combination. I sometimes do burnout while driving like that but its still not a good idea to screw around with it too much.
Like i said, my car takes forever to shift.

You know I never really used it until I read this thread. The slow shifting always pissed me off but keeping it floored and flicking it before redline is pretty sweet I have to admit.

with the grounding kit mine shifts like ice. however from 2nd to 3rd at around 3-4k, when i shift there is a slight jerk - what could be the issue?
