Keep your foot on the gas as you shift with a quick shove into the next gear

make sure u upshift and not downshift by mistake.lol.
also, keep ur foot on the gas, too many people drive it like a manual and let off the gas to shift, no! dont do that. other than that, it has a difficulty between an auto and a manual.

WOT, at 6k, tap up to the next higher gear, and again...and again...well, you get the idea. :-)

it's all about how you wanna drive the car.

I drop to 3rd gear when going through a school zone when kids are present or the lights are flashing.

Otherwise, leave it in D.

From personal experience, make sure you're actually in manual mode before trying to upshift

just keep bouncing it off the rev limiter in first

JP

Just keep your foot planted to the floor .. when the tach reads 6k .. upshift ... and when you get the timing down .. you can go a lil past 6k and upshift and you wont hit the rev limiter

I've done that before (keeping my foot on the gas) and shifting. I noticed my car lags half a second when I upshift then it kicks into the 2nd/3rd gear etc..

You'll have to learn the hard way. Take the car out and test it, then see which way work better for you. Just incase you mess up and hit rev limit. Don't worry not thing much will happen just some smell of burning stuff haa ha ha!
