I seriously need help both mentally and and physically. I put a g37 engine from a 09 g37 with a auto trans and trying to use my mt6 cd002 .that's in my 07 g35, won't work?
I think I made a mistake trying to do this swap.
I got the 09 g37 motor from wrecking yard with low miles and got the wiring harnesses too. The ECU and the other box that runs the vvel with most of the wiring, engine ,dash, and motor area under windshield wiring. The g37 engine was in a sedan with auto trans and I didn't get trans. I want to use my mt cd002 from my g35 . This won't work will it? What trans do I need for the 09 g37 engine? Also I guess the wiring harnesses won't work either? Help please? Anybody want a g37 engine with low miles?

You need a JK series manual transmission, not a CD. Z1 has a nice MT reference guide.

 

I installed the vq37vhr into my g35 coupe. I found a 6sp. Manual trans. And installed that too, and it bolted up and driveline perfect . I have the ECU I got with the vq37vhr also the VVL box or ECU that also needs to be wired up with the engine ECU etc. Now I'm having problems getting it started. I've seen videos where they had somebody make up some wiring to install the engine, ecu, VVL box and made it run without the other attachments like speedometer, oil psi, and other things like tach, etc.
Does anybody know who will make up the set of wires or a schematic so I can make them up to start and run the car? I would appreciate any help. I've had this g35 for almost a year now and haven't driven it ever and want to. It would spark new energy into me getting this car on the road or track. Thanks
