i see that there're a lot of rattling noise issues with '03 model. Do they apply to '04 model too ?

 

I have a 04 sedan and haven't noticed any rattling issues. Then again I haven't gone out of my way to notice them either. In daily, normal driving conditions I haven't noticed any rattles. I have been driving the car for about a month now.

 

I also have an 04 6MT sedan (3 weeks now).. no rattles...

 

I have an 03 with 7000 miles and no rattles.

 

I've had my '04 almost 3 months now, and haven't noticed any rattles, a couple of times I thought I heard something, but turned out it was something in a song on the radio!

i have the 04 sedan for 2 months (900 miles). No rattles so far. Is this kind of problem covered during the first 12 months only, or covered by the 4 yr/36000 warranty ?

 

Should be the entire warranty, it is "bumper to bumper", by the way, it's 4 years/60k.

I have had my 04 sedan for two months and haven't had any rattles. However, it is in for service right now and they are trying to figure out a strange "squeak" in the rear deck. I couldn't isolate it, because it obviously only happens when you are driving. It has been driving me crazy for the past two weeks. Other than that, the car is near perfect!

 

My keys rattle, that's it.

 

Have a 04 Sedan 6mt with 13000 miles. Have dashboard and/or door rattles and also rear right speaker rattles. Took delivery in Sept 03, so must be one of the first batch of 04 cars. Dealer said they can fix all these in the next service. Hopefull they do.

God, i cannot enjoy the car to the fullest with the rattling!. Glad most of you ('04) cars dont have rattling.

 

Just passed 1200 miles yesterday (whee!!!!) in my 2004 and I have a sometimes rattle coming from the rightmost console or door under heavy bass from the sound system. Nothing loose rattling around or anything. When I yanked on the passenger inside door handle it went away...for a while. No biggie so far; I'll mention it when I get my first oil change if it gets worse.

 

I haven't noticed any rattling noises in my '04. Great car.

Got my 04 sedan back from the service dept on Friday and so far the squeak in the rear deck is gone. They told me they adjusted the seats so they were not rubbing against the plastic. I will take it, because it was driving me crazy! Other than that, no other rattles.

Be careful about putting things in the door pockets though. The sound system and speaker will cause an annoying vibrating rattle if you put a cd case or anything like that in there.

 

I had a 04 G35, the driver side window rattles all the time (maybe the passenger side,too, but I can not hear that far), and I brought it to the dealer for 4 times, and nothing is done, I think they just told me they lube it but they did nothing to fix it, now my door handle rattle like hell when I play music not even consider loud to me, the dealer told I have to deal with that, that is BS, well I am really sick of all this, maybe I will sell it after a year or so, cuz I just changed my four tires, any one can advise me??

 

I have an 03 with 27500 miles - no rattles.
