Smashed window replaced- need reset by dealer???

Hi sorry for the double post if you were reading my other one, I just really need some advice before I do this tonight:

My window was smashed in and I just got it replaced, the guy says it needs a dealer reset. In auto up mode it goes up and comes back down a few inches, you can inch it up and close it but definately needs to be fixed.

Will an ECU reset fix the problem????????

Thanks guys.

I believe the window has to be adjusted. I have the same problem now on occasion and the dealer wants to charge me 50.00 for adjustment. I told them I will wait because it happens seldomly.

Yes the dealer needs to adjust it. The window is trying to come up too far.
