Why doesn't 260hp/260tq light up tires more easily?

).If you believe the new V6 Camry will "smoke the G", then maybe... well, I honestly I don't know what to say.
Driving under the influence can be a very deceptive
I will give the V6 Camry credit for being fast for what it is, but it will not smoke any G. It might smoke the driver... but not the G.
It can keep up though... until you hit the twisties.

Anyone that's having trouble, here's an acid test. Stop on an incline, turn of VDC, put it in neutral, rev engine to 4-5K, foot off the brake so you start rolling backwards slowly, pop it into drive and floor it in one motion.
Haven't done that in the G but worked for every other car I've owned, don't break anything!

5AT of course you can....
1. do what daveb says; turn VDC off ...brake, throttle let er rip, play with the brake for a longer burn time.
2. admire the twin black lines....
I had my car in the dealer yesterday ...just saying...my foot slipped... a few times... oops.

If you think youare laying down rubber with this method I'm not sure you are understanding what your car is doing... take it to a track and apply brake and throttle at the same time and see how long it takes the car to react.
The ECU definitely cuts power when both the brake and throttle are applied, but it doesn't seem to limit the car's ability to spin the tires. I'd love to figure out how to get rid of the ECU nanny because I know this car could launch far harder. I really don't even know why Nissan put this into the design.
