dont we have sealed batteries

i thought all the newer cars have sealed batteries, last time i went for an oil change and the techy told me he had topped the water in my battery ... so wondering

yeah thats a stock battery, thats why people have dead batteries because they dont check...and you top it off with distilled water

The stock battery is not sealed. Many of us have gone up to an Optima which are.
