Road trip

Hadn't driven my 2004 since, I think, Sunday. Today, vacation started. Load car this morning, battery dead.

Second time in 6 weeks where it was dead after not being driven for several days. The last time, I had blamed the door being ajar.

Jump it, take it into the Sam's club to buy a battery, and they tell me that it tested good, just low on charge. Also, that they aren't allowed to change the battery on the car due to having to remove other parts to replace it.

I've decided to wing it. Can always call Infiniti if it dies on the road Also, since I'll be doing highway driving every day, it should remain charged. But why is this happening? Is the battery lower on capacity even though it tested good? Is there a slow power drain?

If there aren't any good suggestions, I'll see if it makes it to the 45K service (I'm at 38K now), and see if they can look at it under warranty before my 4 years is up in September. Or before September even if I'm not to 45K yet by then. They are out of town, so I have to schedule it around a trip.
