NEWBIE

Hi all,

New to the forums, just purchased a 2004 Sedan. Graphite Grey,no premium options because I want to add my own. I did regret not getting the reclining back seats but then again it's to late.

Re: NEWBIE

Welcome .....hope you enjoy this forum! In reality most people seem to have trouble finding the rear seat recline release handles anyway....lol.....I practically have to pull over, make them get out and show it to them,,,,,of course, I may just have stupid friends. ; )

Re: NEWBIE

THE 2004's HAVE RECLINING BACK SEATS?!!! Not that I'd need them, I just think it sounds cool. The "pulling over to show them how to use it" part doesn't sound so cool tho...but that's ok. If they complain about it, there's always plenty of room in the TRUNK.

Re: NEWBIE

The 03 and 03.5s have reclining rear seats, as well. I have to coach people into finding the recline doohickey too, but they find it soon enough My only regret with having them is that I'm such a symmatry freak. When one person reclines and the other doesn't, and they get out, I see uneven headrests in my rear-view mirror. Agh!

Re: NEWBIE

I got so sick of showing "my stupid friends" (like Geespot ) that I put up red flags and tied yellow ropes around the handles of the rear seat recliners.

The thing that still pisses me off is that I still get asked, "so where is the handle again?" RRRRRRR!!!

Thats right.......im kidding again!

You guys sound almost more obsessive than I am...or maybe not.

The only thing about the reclining seats is that I think it may have been the reason we don't get fold down seatbacks for the times when you need to expand the trunk space.

Re: NEWBIE

Thanks for the welcome. about the reclining seats...I got the basic G35 since I was getting reamed with my trade in and the balance owed on it. So no upgrades yet. but I do have my eye on the racing hart CRs. in 19inch.

Re: NEWBIE

i didnt get the premium package with the reclining back seats, b/c frankly i dont care about the comfort of my passengers. as long as im good, then everything is fine. if my passengers want to complain, then they could always get out of the car...

Re: NEWBIE

I thought I would be the only one to get back there after every trip we take to pull the damn seat backs up and make the symetrical. Good to know I'm not the only crazy out there as my GF claims.

I was going to start leaving them all the way back since no one seems to be able to find the lever as well.

Re: NEWBIE

welcome MEX, I'm relatively new, having just bought my G in Sept. My first mod will be the 350Z intake tube and Pop-charger intake, just ordered from infinitiwholesaleparts.com (Grubbs Infiniti)... only $200 for the pair.
