I have Defected and Gone to the Dark Side:) *Long*
So here is the story.
We have always wanted a Coupe (so you already see where this is going[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]). So my wife started to hint that she would really like to make that Dark Side jump really, really soon. I of course reminded her that my priorities were, 1- To build and SRT-4 in Andrew's Memory, 2- Try and Build another Drag Strip and Road Course tracks in Dade/Broward county, 3- Driving School at the track for our children. I also knew in the back of my mind that what happened to Andrew made me realize, that life is short and you never know what is around the corner so to speak. Not being born into or made out of money, I never the less wanted to give her what she wanted and I could provide. The other thing she wants, NO ONE on this earth can give her or I.[img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img];(;(
So after trying to sell the Sedan Privately and talking to Several dealers Locally and Remotely. I went ahead and leased an Ivory Pearl Coupe 5AT with everything but the chin spoiler and Navi. To those 6MT peeps out there, I tried to convince her to get a 6MT. But I lost, of course.[img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img][img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]
I have to say though, the 5AT is still fun to drive. Driving impressions and stuff I will post later. Pics are in the Coupe "Rides".
Props to West Palm Beach Infiniti, Grubbs Infiniti and Sewell Infiniti. These dealers, of the ones I contacted were the most professional.

Good luck with the new car. I've owned 6 cars five of them were stick and my G35x is the first Automatic. It's not so bad. I have to deal with a lot of traffic thats the good part.
If it's a G it's 4 me!

Welcome to the 'Dark Side' bro.
That's what I thought a year ago when I traded my Sedan for my Coupe -- you only live once and you never know what's around the next corner..... It's been a great year for me, although it took some getting used to the 'differences' between the 2 rides.
Enjoy the Coupe bro if you can 'wrestle' it away from wifey. lol.--

Congrats on your purchase. Which dealership did you end up going with? I am down in South Florida too, and I am considering Grubbs just because of the deals rolling around. Enjoy your coupe.

I went with West Palm. I wanted to go with Grubbs but the non-sale of the Sedan prevented me from doing so. There was some negative equity and I did not want to take too much of a hit. West Palm gave me the fairest deal locally when I traded the Sedan in for the Coupe.

haha welcome to the coupe club once you go coupe you never go back Good chose with the color. on a side note did they change the inside door trim. i dont have that peice of aliminium on the door pannel (on the pocket)
