Sorry, I didn't see this Q before. I know it has been responded to but here is my $0.02.

If it were my $ I would always go turbo over SC. If you don't plan to build your motor and go for big power the TN is a great kit. So is the STS and APS. I don't like the oil pump setup with those two so I would take the TN over any of them. Plus it looks awesome under the hood!

It is a good kit and with a better EMS like a UTEC is can be a great kit. Yes it has a bit more lag that a TT kit but you can still get more HP and way more TQ than a Vortech at the same boost. Plus you don't have to always be in high rpm to be in boost like with a centrifugal SC. For the size of that turbo it comes on faster than I would expect.

If you have the money go TT. It is by far the best choice but if money is tight a ST is the way to go. The install is a lot less work and the kits are a bit cheaper.

I went back and started changing my post where I list all my mods. I would guess that if you figure $50/hr in labor for what I have done, my car has at least $50k in mods, maybe closer to $60k, who knows anymore... That is just off the top of my head and I could be wrong.

I think I have at least $25k and countless hours into it.

HA! Yeah, the tree kind! Just kiddin. I've actually added $2,000 in Rims/tires, 20% tint, and getting ready to add about 60 sq ft of eDead and a JL 500/1 and a 10w7 or a 12w6. I guess I do have the mod bug. Won't be doing many suspension/engine mods as thank the good Lord I am not really into that!!! That sh*t is expensive....huh ttrank?!

Yes the mods are expensive. I have done most of my work myself (except for TT kit install which UMS Tuning did a great job on) and even just parts add up.
