Car "died" coming home from a meet today!
is there anytthing the dealer can do now that the SES light is no longer on or coming on. it turned off when i reset the ecu. should i go anyways and explain the problem to them even though theres no indicator showing a problem???
if the problem still exists, the ecu will cycle it back after some amount of time. even after a reset, i have seen the ecu store the code. you could get it scanned at like an advance auto or autozone for free to see if its still stored and just not throwing the cel yet. if its there then take it in. if not then i would bet you would a near impossible time convincing them to repair/replace anything.
ill go get it scanned now and if nothin comes up ill wait it out til the problem occurs again and take it straight to dealership. under warranty for a while so anything that happens i put the stock intake back on and its on their ***.
