scatch removal

WHAT'S up soldiers!!! Hey guys I know this topic has been discussed but I'd like to know some updates about removing minor scratches. My sedan is black and I've noticed plenty of new scatches on the doors. I'm pretty much a noob at removing anything so be nice guys. How do those clay bars work and or wax?? Let me know thanks

Orbital buffer PC 7428 with a orange pad, medium polish then light polish and then wax should do the trick.

I just took out some pretty bad scratches off my dads lexus. Started with 24,000 grit sandpaper, then porter cabled the rest with polish. Came out great.

Where does one get 24000 grit sandpaper? Hell notebook paper is more coarse than that!

^ The finest grit sandpaper I've seen is 2000, and that's usually good enough to polish plastic headlamps and surface scratches on the body.
