Coupe exhaust on sedan?

Does anyone know if a coupe exhaust could work on the sedan?
Or are there any dual exhausts for the sedan?

I'm pretty new here and I know that the coupe midpipe works on the sedan. There are a lot of companies that make a dual exhaust for the sedan too. Look at stillen.com and everythingg35.com that should get you what you want

No, I don't believe their is a dual exhaust for the 03-06 sedans. There really isn't a way to get the pipes to be run evenly all the way back.

I've contemplated installing a coupe muffler and tips on my sedan before, but after looking at the space to work with under the back of the 03-06 sedan, there just isn't any room to do it. You would have to be very creative to run the passenger side exhaust outlet over on that side, plus the bumper only has the cutout on the drivers side, so you'd have to create the cutout on the passenger side to match.

Stillen and others make "dual" exhaust systems, but both exhaust tips exit on the drivers side like the stock sedan exhaust system. Let us know if you decide to install a coupe exhaust on your sedan.

This question has been asked time and time again. Please consider using the search function.

No it won't work without some serious modification to the fuel evap system. Further more the coupe exhaust will not fit at all because of the spare tire well design.

I Might Be Wrong But I Think Its Always Good To Go Over An Idea

Lots Of Different People With Different Ideas .. Can Come Up With A Brilliant Idea Together ..

( Perhaps Figure A Way To Do A Dual Exhaust On An 03-06 Sedan )

Just My Three Cents...

There's a guy I know in ym area that has told me he's figured out a way to get the coupe exhaust bolted onto the sedan; needless to say I am dying to know how, and will post up when I do..

I think his name is stealthsedan on here

Anything can be done if you have enough money. I would cost too much to modify a sedan to make the coupe exhaust fit. If you own or have acess to a performance shop then you could probably play around and see what will work. In the long run it's awaste of time and money (my opinion). Just spend the money and buy an aftermarket exhaust for your sedan and I am pretty sure you will be happy.

Just my 2 cents

while that idea may have some merit, rehashing it in a new thread makes the search function useless. if you really want to bring a topic up for discussion again, bring it back from the dead using search. there's probably a pretty good chance it's been answered before.DOMO

I have found a way to do a killer quad exhaust on G-Sedan,
Just have not committed to do it yet.

I have give it some thoughts, here is how to do it:

1. Start with a stillen true dual, which I already have. Remove Muffler, you are left with dual pipes.
2. Cut the spare wheel well from under the trunk
3. Put a M3 Quad muffler (After market smaller ones, the OE is too big)
in under the trunk where the wheel well used to be. Reseal the trunk with aluminum plate. You will lose the spare or you'll have to leave it in the trunk.
4. Mate the M3 muffler dual inlet with the dual pipe from Stillen using some connectors.

May need to invade EVAP space just a little, but because the M3 quad is at the center similar to Corvette, you may not have to do relocation.

For now, it's just a plan, perhaps someone else want to put in some action?

^ +1 Like he said...just not worth it. No proven performance gain and very little aesthetic benefit for the time, trouble and cost.
