I dont know how accurate the MPG readout is (If you have nav) but with my first long trip with car I got 31.8 mpg with my 6 speed. Did not due and actual mile/gallon calculation, but it is the highest i have heard of. Between 65-75 in 6th with cruise the whole time.

28 MPG in the first post is hard to come by, but somewhat believable. Don't take offense to this, but it find it highly unlikely that you got 31.8 MPG in a G...unless it was only over a 20 mile stretch on the highway and most of it being downhill. I'm curious to see if you can get close to that mileage again by trying to duplicate the trip. Let me know what you get 2nd time around please!

My navi says I'm getting a tiny bit over 22mpg average. Most of it is highway travel at ~75-80 mph. Is that good?

i used to be able to do around 23, 24 average.. but that was back when i still had 6MT (stock)

my 2nd and 3rd G are both automatic.. only getting around 19-21 overall depending on the driving mood..

but wow, 28mpg.. indeed a record

I avg 25-27 mpg while on the hwy with avg speed of 75-85 mph with 2 adults and 1 child. I have duplicated this many times. It sure amazed the guy travelling with us in his honda minivan when he needed to stop before we did.

^ It's all possible, just depends how fast you want to or how fast you can go to get there.

These #'s still amaze me. I did 65 mph with cruise control set for 4 hours straight and I only got 26.5 mpg. Sure, I have an auto, but at highway speeds that really shouldn't matter much.
