Warning light near engine temp gauge

I got in my car this morning and turned it on and first noticed that the temperature gauge of the engine was very low and taking a long time to increase, also, there was an exclamation point next to the gauge as well.. Does anyone know what this might be?

is it enclosed with to parenthesis ? (...!...)? thats your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) its porbably a lil low, it can get annoying at times, when its cold the air in your tires loses pressure, when its hot it goes back.

Yes it does have parenthesis, so should I do anything about it or leave it alone?

all you have to do is check the pressure in your tires.. If they are really low just fill them up.

Okay, the pressure should be at 35psi in all the tires correct?

my manual says 33psi for the 18s. not sure about the 17s if that what you have. make sure you are checking/refilling them when the tires are cold.

check your driver door jamb, the pressure will be listed on a sticker there. cold as in have not been driven in 4 hours or so and not sitting directly in sun. i check mine in the morning as the car has sat garaged all night.

The 17's are 30psi. Even though though the dealer always fills them to 35psi.
