M45 in a G

I know this may sound ridiculous but is there any way, even through modifying, that you could put the M45 4.5L in a G?

yeah, i saw a guy do it in a magazine. I know another guy did it with a 4.5 from a Q and turboed it. with enough money and time you could probably put whatever you want in there

Kel has been working on that mod for over a year (with twin turbos).

Also Top Secret did it, also with twins. Top Secret does everything.

With the extra work it is not worth it. The best bet is a GTM 4.2 stroker kit with a pair of big turbos like the APS extreme kit.

Dshuts - Interesting question. Same thing Audi did w/ their S4 (threw their V8 into the A4). Also saw an episode of "Rides" where they took the engine from a Lexus GS and put it in the IS and made it a drift car . As said above, almost anything is possible.

Fassster10 - Why not? It would make a great show car or drift car or daily driver for that matter....imagine pulling up to a modded G and smoking the @hit out of him off the line?

I forget his name but a guy on my350z is/was doing an LSX swap (though you could choose different LS motors like the LS2) into a coupe, the idea being to blueprint the process and sell it. By selling your engine, transmission, any other nonrecycled components it was supposed to cost less than a turbo setup for massive all motor potential. LS2's with just a cam swap put down 420+rwhp, he was planning to be over 800rwhp on the LSX with a big nitrous shot. I only checked the thread once and it was months ago so I have no idea of the status.

Jeez...all that engine work & bling under the hood and he's got the ghetto hood stand to keep the hood open (I forget the technical term).
