Remove everything that isn't needed, remove door panels and gut the doors, rear seats, A/C, stereo/speakers/amp, air bags, carpet/undercarpet material, trim, you could remove the hood, trunk lid, and doors altogether if you're really hard core. Wear loose cotton clothes and lightweight shoes- no socks. I bet you'd be in the mid 13's for free that way.

I do agree with most of that except for the hood, trunk lid and doors since that would kill your aero and slow you way down.

There was a story years back where a kid sent in his sentra with all sorts of rediculous body kit parts and "kustom modz", (fart can and hot air intake type stuff) to a car magazine, but I don't remember which. He wanted them to make it fast, he thought it was all "show" no go I guess. They tore EVERYTHING off, completely gutted the interior, used a sawsall to cut off the body kit and trunk (not trunk lid, the whole trunk), removed all the doors and the hood, cut a lot of steel off the front end too, I think they smashed out the rear windshield to deal with the air flow issue and may have cut the roof off too, I can't remember. When they were done it was just a frame with and engine and wheels basically. It dropped something like 1.5-2 seconds seconds in the quarter mile though! I wish I could find it but this was years ago on a car forum that I no longer visit. They had pictures of the different stages of "customization", it was hilarious. I'm sure they had to reimburse him for it but well worth it.

Yeah, there's this thread where a coupe owner stripped his car down & shaved off 200 lbs. https://g35driver.com/forums/team-350-gz/144378-fat-car-note-no-s-fat.html

Turn your sedan into a 2 seater & I'm sure you can make your car just as light.
