ARGH!! So Frustrated

well i was on my way home from class cruising on the freeway when the car in front of me decided to not swerve and miss the tire chunk. they decide to run over it and launch it in the air. i couldnt dodge it b/c there were cars on both sides of me. so i just had to take it like a man. all i heard was a loud bang on the front bumper..i knew it wasnt good. well, when i got home to look at the bumper..the paint was all cracked. i had recently got the front license plate holes shaved too. just felt like venting for a bit.

Ouch! Sorry to read this. Doesn't mean much now, but . . . Glad that nothing more serious came out of that unfortunate incident.

i hit a piece of TUMBLEWEED on the 91 fwy once...scratched the hell out of my bumper on my old Celica.

Worse one was a car's rear bumper came off, and i hit it going 80mph (same story as yours...cars on both sides, so i couldn't swerve)

I know how you feel. I had a large sheet of ice fall from the roof of a moving van in front of me once and land on the roof of my G. It made a loud bang and I thought for sure the roof had cratered-in. This happened while I was just entering the freeway so I couldn't pull-over to take a look. Stupid thing was when I got onto the highway there was a slow-down so I ended-up stewing in my own angry juices for over an hour. I was too pissed-off to even look and didn't want to look like an idiot studying overt his roof on the side of the road of a clogged highway. When I finally pulled into work I took a peek and, to my amazement, the roof was unscathed.
