hitting s**t on the road sucks.

tonight, on my way home from a 12hr shift, i decided to take the freeway because, well...i was tired and didn't want to sit behind all the idiots who drive on side streets. i was doing about 85mph on the freeway when i hit what i *THINK* is a piece of tire. to be honest, i wasn't sure, as a black tire, on the freeway, at night, is pretty damn hard to see.

so, now i have a cracked front lip, and some spider cracks on my front bumper. pictures will go up in the morning.

 

Sorry to hear what happen. It happen to me last month. I hit a tire too and I lost my ING+S lip on the freeway. I had to order a new one.

ive heard that the city might pay for it since cal trans is supposed to keep the freeways clear.. sounds crazy, i dont know

Some lady hit it on the freeway got pulled over for it and still drove the car home with it in the grill lol

Yeah that sucks. I got a 100.00 ticket from and idiot cop for avoiding a bag with a lot of stuff in it on the highway the last week. Good luck with your repairs.

 

Oh wow, that sucks! I had multiple chips in my bumper and a small crack on my windshield due to debris.

 

sucks...at first, i thought it was just the cracked front lip, so no biggie. But by the lower opening, the paint is cracking...so i gotta get that repainted.

Maybe i'll just save up and get the whole car reshot in that porsche gunmetal color....

OH, and urethane is easily cracked at 90mph, in case you missed and/or were wondering.

 

That sucks man! Not sure what your deducible is or how much that part costs, but my insurance coverage covers stuff like that.

that sucks man. i hit something on the interstate the other day and it cracked my front lip, but it wasnt as bad as yours.
