I had a 07 loaner yesterday and liked some things and didn't like some things.
The keyless is great but the tack and speedo switch isn't cool. Still need better seats the sport seats are sweet looking but the stock seats are that great. Next the power over my 04 WOW would have been better if not awd

 

i got one too last week.

liked: interior/dash/rear end appearance/keyless
Hated: horrible gas milage in traffic (took it 120miles back and forth to work)
& front end appearance

Felt like a lexus and less like a luxury sports car

I'll keep my 05, looks better.

 

Yeah i'm not too much of a fan of the exterior. It looks too round and not as aggressive. I wish they made the front more like the M35/45.

 

oh what, the old G looks like a bug to me I love the new G35

 

i never liked the headlights on the 1st gen G

07 non sport looks great

Yea I got a loaner myself on Monday and the only thing I was impressed with was the power, oh and the Stereo. But we all know if you trade up, you'll get used to that power and it will soon be the same feeling as you have now with your current car. Just ain't fast enough, where does it end????

I agree with the headlight comment, but personally I think the 05 mode still looks better.

 

I guess it is a matter of taste.
I find the 07 lights too 'angry' and 'menacing' looking, same with the IS250/350. The 1st gen light are 'friendlier' and 'peppier', much in the same way as the Porsches.

As for the 07 body, it is sexier and sportier with lots of curves and round edges. Where as the 1st gens has a more formal elegant. Again a matter of taste.

I guess the 07 looks more sporty, where as the 1st gens are more formal. Both are hot.

 

+1 on the 05 looks the best.
