I tried that, i have the clip in my hand. I even tried to use it without the button, pushing down on it, but it still wont work. I really dont get it. For some odd reason, it doesnt seem to want to go all the way down, but i can see that the clip is mating perfectly with the trans stick. I stuck a screw driver up there, and pushed the button, and it would push the screwdriver down. Im completely lost. Theres no way to mess up that metal rod right? I mean it still works, just have to use my thumb to push it down then shift it.

Automatic ****..Try a search too (pictures)!
I didn't like my OEM **** so I ordered a Momo **** from Riverside Infiniti.
When it arrived I didn't like that it sat too high so my Dremmel and I cut
about an inch off the little plastic actuater......works perfect and sits lower.
Also when you install the new **** use thread locker on the pins because
they'll work loose if you don't! (Riverside Infiniti 800-919-8130 Jason/Tony)
