I want to get one bad but cant find anyone on these boards who has it. Only the 03-04's have them - some ebay and some from Unlimited Tuning.

So if you are a 05-06 and have it, pls post up pics.

tisk tisk tisk... Clint, you should know better... i've had that grille on my car for the past 6 months or so, its a little tricky getting it to fit perfect and you have to dremel quite a bit, but once you do, it fits like a glove.

I used the cut-off wheel on the dremel to refine the grille. I had to cut about a 1/2" off the back of the grille to make it fit perfect on the sides and bottom. I also put 3m tape on the bottom so the grille wouldnt move around at all... its rock solid.

Thanks Grant.
The one I got from ebay just looks too small after I got it painted. It's going to take some work to get it to fit...its going to another member.

Thanks for the info. I will take a closer look when trying to fit it on his ride.

Sorry for the jack Clint but I think you needed to know this info anyways?

I also cut out the support bar as it does absolutely nothing after the mold is done, it also helps the grille stretch a little to fit better. But i'm sure that's not as big of a deal as the 03-04 hoods are straight across, parallel with the grille.

i got one and the fitment seemed fine. i was going to double side tape it after i attached the mesh. every tab to hold the mesh broke off so its been sitting in my garage ever since. its pretty good considering what you pay.

I think I just got a bad mold. When I went to install it, pushing down onto the double sided tape, created a large gap up top. I also removed the support bar as well. I placed spacers underneath the top of the grille to hold it up in place and it still just gapped on each side..etc.

The 05/06 grilles seem to have a better fit overall compared to the ebay 03/04 ones.

It was a little tricky to get it perfectly timmed to fit but it can be done with a little patience. The last pic in the listing is my car. Heres a side veiw I took of mine after I got it trimmed and painted.

thanks BuckeyeG. Unfortunately your thread doesnt appear to show the front pics of the grill. Can you repost here please?

Did you use 3m tape or something else to stick the grill?

Cheers,
Clint
