factory alarm goes off on its own...please helllp

well i bought the car not checking if the horn works, little did i know the alarm goes off for no reason and i dont have a horn so i cant hear it go off, i just see the lights flashing as its going off.... any help is appreciated....oh i also bought the car without any keyless entry pods (found that out after i signed the paper work). please help.

someone has to know what this problem is....could it be maybe they tried to reset the alarm with new pods and maybe didnt do it right resulting with what i deal with now???

anyone know???? im wondering if someone tried using a new set of keyless entry pods and prob messed up the code.....

You can purchase new OEM keyless remotes on www.originalkeyless.com or on eBay for about $40 per remote. Programming instructions are included. The car has to "learn" each of the remotes, so I'm not sure how anything would get messed up.

If you didn't buy the car new, its possible that there is an aftermarket alarm in there and it's gone haywire. If you did buy it from a dealership, take it back and have them figure it out; thats what a warranty is for.

yeah its an 03 with 80k miles so warranty is out of the picture. but thanks for the info.

try putting the alarm on valet mode, by pressing and holding the lock and unlock buttons till the lights flash. maybe think bout buying an aftermarket?

i will try that as soon as i order the keypod for the keyless entry, i dont have any.
