I strongly believe we need the DYNO forum since it brings nothing else but benefit for all to see what other G35 cars (sedans/coupes) doing comparing to your own, from factory stock to FI (forced induction) and see before/after numbers as you or somebody else add more mods.
Dynos are a great tool, but the information they provide can easily be misinterpreted and end up creating a lot of confusion in the end.
Therefore, all who run DYNO should use industry standard Dynojet 248c with SAE numbers only
So if you dyno a car at 200 whp on a Dynojet, and then somebody else dynos their same car at 212 whp on a Dynapack, it doesn't mean their car is more powerful (assuming both stock), just that that type of dyno reads higher and that's it.
For all, please call your DYNO shop and ask before going if they have a Dynojet and it can deliver SAE numbers
Note For your convenience here is the link to see what shops in each state are offer DYNOJET. Under North America - select your state and call them for pricing. You should get better deals once you become 'permanent' customers.
