Dynos are a great tool, but the information they provide can easily be misinterpreted and end up creating a lot of confusion in the end.
Therefore, all who run DYNO should use industry standard Dynojet 248c with SAE numbers only
So if you dyno a car at 200 whp on a Dynojet, and then somebody else dynos their same car at 212 whp on a Dynapack, it doesn't mean their car is more powerful (assuming both stock), just that that type of dyno reads higher and that's it.
For all, please call your DYNO shop and ask before going if they have a Dynojet and it can deliver SAE numbers

this is true. but as long as you have both numbers.. the before mods results and after mods results we can still see the benifits. I have a stock 05 sedan and after seeing some of the dyno results I dont think exhaust and intake mods are worth the cost. So posting the dyno results may have saved me over 1000.00 putting these forums pretty high on my list.Originally Posted by Gmaster
