is there any modification needed to fit the coupe mid pipe or 350z mid pipe on a 05 sedan? no extension or anything?

I bought my 04 sedan with a set of 17" kosei k1's. They are the same size and offset as stock 17's (17x7 +45mm offset). They weigh 14lbs, so that right there is a huge difference.
Kosei's are on the cheaper side, I would look into them if I were you.

I've seen coupes reduce weight and end up under 3000 lbs. That would be a significant benefit in performance, especially since the sedan is lighter to begin with.
