hi everyone,

i am experiencing rattling/creaking noises when i drive-- coming from the rear.

also, a squeaking noise when i release the break pedal (5AT)

im planning on going into the dealer soon-- its annoying

is there any remedy or precaution?-- i dont want to be ripped off from the "stealership"

please advise

I'm gonna put my money on the notorious "axle click" which I just had repaired by Jasoncham2003. When you take it to the dealership they will say its some part needing replacement which is probably covered by warranty- pending your "mods".

Jason took care of the problem in >30mins and didnt need to replace any parts whatsoever. Kind of a hint to what the stealership will say and do.

 

i have alot of rattling noise coming from my rear door. going to take it to the dealer soon.
but i also hear a noise coming from the engine area, its like a clunking/grinding noise. the noise seems to be there only sometimes. does anybody know what the problem might be?

 

I've had rattling on one side of my rear for a while...they say it is the chrome window trim creaking against the window.

The other side had a loose bolt that needed to be covered under a service bulletin.

 

rattles all over the rear deck, but I jsut deal with it for now, as for the rear, look at the back side of your rear rotors, I had the same thing, and guess what? was full of all kinds of rust particles, cleaned the parking break area out, and now its gone. Will have the rotors changed this weekend hopefully and will take a pic of what Im talking about
