^ hmm the 350z has a even smaller resonator then the Coupe middy. I am rolling with a Magnaflow Axle Back and there is a bit of drone. So I am having a hard time seeing how there is no drone with no muffler

 

i thought the Z middy was the same as the coupe, just overall length was shorter..

i am saying that the Z middy gave me less (let me be more specific) Highway drone. The drone u do get from doing this at 1500 2000 rpm sounds exactly like a 350z with all that warble and sounds fantastic, so i dont see that as a downside

But in the city with no muffler it has to be killer

I dont know about the screwing anything up, but it was loud and droned bad in everyday driving, which for me is all city. It just isn't for me, 5-6 years ago I probably wouldn't have minded. I saw and heard a sedan a couple days ago that I think was running straight pipes, no cats, no resonator, no muffler.. It was LOUD.. sounded pretty mean but too obnoxious for my taste..

Any idea if the 350z hr cats fit an X.. would they even change the sound?
