Motordyne VQ y-back and M2 Performance HR y-pipe. Cats are stock for now, and maybe for good.

Damn that sounds good V8ish on startup...What do you guys think would be the best way to get that growl at startup without getting the vq y-back, which is crazy expensive.

LOL, a mini ricer fly-by of my MotorDyne VQ dual taken by GR6RR during our caravan to the Sedan GTGII last Saturday. About 1:12 in I'm on the left in the black sedan and passing him by under an overpass.

^ were we supposed to hear something? lol

the MD is big bucks, I bet it sounds hella nice. Post some clips in like 500 miles the ton will change a bit.

Do a take off straight away from your camera upto 3rd gear. Thats about 60mph, should give the good sound we want to hear

^ Oh, there's some better ones out there; I'm thinking 3truman and thelarsky have good MD VQ dual videos posted up already. Just posted that one bc Mark was asking for a flyby quickie and that was taken last Saturday.

Took a couple of quickies this afternoon. I really need some video editing software and a location with less traffic. The long pauses with no action were to allow traffic to clear so you could hear the exhaust.

That growl on ignition brings a smile to my face every time.

Sounds great, but its really loud :P

I am sure it drones a bit, if you are alright with it now then thats great, should get a bit better as you get used to it and break it in.

Yes, it's significantly louder than stock but it's a nice low loud. A little bit of drone under load but not too bad.

I'm still undecided on adding HFC. I'm not sure I want to amp up the volume any more but do want to squeeze a few more NA HP out of this thing before tune.

???i don't know why i have not posted in this thread before??? some of you guys have seen this before but i'll put em in here too. I've had this exhaust for quite some time and i love it, ART pipes are in the near future as well. for those who don't know its xyz straight with straight vq y-back dual tips. videos were made with my droid and the first was a point and shoot camera so quality isnt great but oh well, when i get the art pipes i will make a good quality video since i hope it will sound epic!!!!

Here's a video of the custom dual exhaust setup on my car.

Yes I know it's very loud, but that's why I got this, and I love it.

I realize it's not for everyone, but nothing is.

Hopefully my future exhaust with 350z Y and Berk HFCs added to my muffler delete and 350z muddy will sound like any of these since they all sound great; maybe even a little V8ish...hey i can dream
