Dont mean to hijack the thread, just thought this maybe the best thread to ask besides starting a new one.
The resonator and muffler both work together to quiet down the exhaust sound by suppressing different frequencies. If you have a full aftermarket exhaust, then the only options you have are to swap out the exhaust for a quieter one, or suppress the exhaust itself which works by reducing the flow of the exhaust.

There are usually silencers that you can bolt onto the exhaust tips, but you can find a mechanical exhaust control valve which you can control with a switch inside your car. Both suppress the exhaust sound very well.

What kinds of exhaust are the turbo guys going with? My Momentum Y-Pipe replacement is 3'' im looking for a 3'' Y back options, only think I really see is the Megan OE-RS.

Right now im leaning towards a custom 3'' Mandrel bent SS if i can find a shop that can do it. Vibrant 18'' resonator with a Apexi Noir muffler.

^Your best bet is to find a used one. They've been discontinued for a few years now

It's because everything else after is stock. The mid pipe is a huge blocker (Have you seen that coffin??) and the muffler at the end is quite large as well. Bigger than the 03/04.
