actly we ran into?

If I can find some cheap Lights on ebay I'd be willing to sacrifice them.

Me too. Someone offered to help so I went for it It helps when someone in the group has done it before. Now that I've done it once though, I would feel comfortable doing it by myself the next time around.

If Truth finds another set he wants to mod up, maybe he will be my next set. I'm waiting till I have a few other things in my hands I want to add to my next set.

Thanks!

Hey Chris, is there any way that you could paint the bezels seperatly and then place them in the headlights I have now. In other words, could I buy a cheap pair off ebay (like you did) and send you them and have them painted and then you send them to me and I place the bezels inside my OEM lights, or is that not possible at all? Reason I ask is because I really want it done and I don't have the ***** to do it. Also, I heard the ebay lights don't fit correctly so thats my reason to this confusing maddness lol. Plus, my G is my daily driver and can't afford to ship my lights out when I need them lol.

Try to check your local junk yards and get a set of OEM Halogen lights. The HID ones will cost you at least double per headlight. The bezels are interchangeble between the two. Also remember that after 04 the headlights changed. If you just want to use the bezels off of the ebay ones, those will fit fine inside the base of your OEM light. I don't know if there will be any fitment issues with using the bezel and the OEM headlight lense or not. The eBay lense on the OEM base didn't clip all the way in for me. On each headlight one clip didn't snap back into place. The lense was down as far as it would go so the other clips were able to still hold it in place and create the seal just fine. No signs of condensation even with rain next two days after the mod was done.

Here you go Gee. You just need to hang the bumper, not completely remove it. Post up pics when you get it all done.

Thanks chobble. I'll be putting on some halos in the spring along with a projector retro fit for the turn signal lense. I don't know if ill go full projector or not yet. I kind of don't want to spend more money beyond that on the headlights

i feeel ya mon. projectors are in the works for my black lights (i have some stockers on now i picked up from ebay) i am fortunate enough to have a local friend helping me out this time around! projector signals would be HOT! i ended up putting stock amber signals in the black lights and left the small bezel unpainted. ill have to post up some photos when its all done. it does take time!
