Yes, however, if you lower your car you will need to either run smaller than OEM tires or roll/shave your fenders to avoid rubbing in the rear due the coupe 19's lower offset.

I am looking to get some coupe 19's from anywhere (hint hint) and powder coat them black. I wanted after market rims but these just look better on the car. My car is not dropped, so they shouldnt rub right? And are they different sizes for front and rear? If that is so it wouldnt work with my all wheel drive......:icon 27: and that would kind of suck. Anyone help me out with those 2 questions? Thanks.

If your car isn't lowered and is an X, they won't rub under normal conditions. If you have a bunch of weight in the trunk and back seat the rears may rub a little.

Yes they are different sizes but they are only 0.5" width difference so you can run the same size tires on them. I have a set that I use for spares and they all have 245/40/19's on them. As long as you run the same tire size they will be fine with your AWD.

thanks for responding. is 2 people a bunch of weight? and some sites that i am looking on for wheels (because coupe 19's are hard to find) eliminate 19 inch wheels when i put my make and model in. Example:
http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-rim...ck%20Flat.html
When i try putting in 2004 G35 sedan, 19" wheels go away. As long as they're 19x8.5 they should be good right? Is 45nm offset too big or will that fit without mods? Thanks

2 people is not that much weight. If you had 200lbs in the trunk and 2-3 people in the back, it would be...

Yes coupe 19's are not easy to find but keep your eyes on the marketplace here. 19x8.5 +45 will fit fine all around with no mods. You may want to run a 10-15mm spacer on the rear and a 5-10mm spacer on the front to make them fill the space better.

Coupe 19's are 19x8 +30 and 19x8.5 +33.

thanks, you are really helpfull on all of my posts. Im gonna keep looking and do my sound system before the wheels i think. im trying to keep my eyes pealed for coupe 19's but if i cant find them i think im going to get Tenzo Type-M's. They are pretty sweet as well. Anyone heard anything about them?

Edit: Just found these on ebay

i think im going to get them. they need new tires though and to be powder coated. i feel that powdercoat is the best option for finishing wheels. Agreed?

Awesome thread Tim! I didn't know about the GT-spec mid brace not fitting the sedans. The only reason I didn't get it when I did the F&R was because they were not in stock. You saved me some trouble.

got some more stuff for you to put in:

- Hotchkis bars now have collars/stops built in (at least mine did last year when I put them in)
- Wheel weights for stock wheels (include the coupe wheels since it's a popular upgrade, sorry don't have the spec handy)
- 6mt was not available until 03.5, '04 got LSD rear on 6mt (and maybe sport I forget)

holy crap that's cheap, I paid just over $1K when I got mine, but with low miles on tires and no rash, almost mint.

Mine have a bit of rash on two wheels and are not perfect but pretty good shape. Since the goal was to have these for spares I was very happy.

OK, I've got a ?

What is the difference (if any) between a 2004 & 2004.5 6MT? My build date on my G35 Sedan is April 2004, which makes it a 2004.5 I believe.

Thanks and very helpful thread.

Awesome thread and great info.

Just curious if anyone has any pics of (or knows anyone that does) a 03-04 sedan with 07 sedan OEM rims? I like the look of the new wheels but just don't know how they'll go with the older gen.

Thanks much!

Tim,

What about adding info on your radiator and/or other radiators.

Thanks,

Ian
