It's funny how I was bummed that the 05-06 were getting a cool alternative and couldn’t understand why the "need" for 03-04 went un-noticed... Thanks Rookie for hearing and providing the "need"!!!!

picked up the car today from mock-up... caskyline did a great job painting the headlight housings (pics later)... saw the bumper - it's still in the finishing stages of shaping... looking really nice!!!

Can you fill me in on why one bumper isn't compatible with both 03-04 & 05-06 for the sedan?

the mold is going to fiberglass very soon... Rookie said bring it back in a couple of weeks (maybe sooner?)... So probably shortly after that I would guess... BTW, I'm using the two week wait to take the car to an electrical place to look into that taillight project - I'm so hopeful they will make it work

in 05 they made minor body style changes... nothing as drastic as 07, but things like grille, bumper, aren’t interchangeable...

What are you getting done to your tails?

the plan is to get the brake/taillight to blink with turn signal... so I can body match paint the top (current turn signal portion) like eyelids... so it looks kinda like the IS350 tails... but getting the brakes light to flash isn’t as easy as I had hoped.

I thought about leaving a sliver of current blink, but for safety reason and because I'm not 100% happy with the way that looks, I'm trying this.

BTW, originally posted I'm keeping it a secret, but I figured if anyone else has thought of doing this at least they know it's being attempted and can wait and see if it works.

What I want to do is to put in some LED's in the middle of my current led circles. Then I would use my current turn signals as parking lights. They would act as my turn signal. I've been to chicken to open up my tail lights, though (I would have to dremel them apart). Hopefully Japan will force me to get new tail lights when I move. Then I wouldn't be a chicken anymore
